We are excited to offer a summer camp where free play is paramount,
where mud, dirt, water, and art are our curriculum, and most of all,
where children can be children! We would love for your child to join us!
We draw inspiration from Montessori and Reggio Emilia philosophies and our program is based outdoors with an emphasis on unstructured, child - led play. We believe that children thrive when they are given freedom to follow their interests within a rich environment and supportive community. Mostly, we want to offer a camp that captures the magic that we remember from our own childhood summers - a camp where children are simply free to play.
Our days at camp will vary based on the interests of the children and will often include creating artwork with lots of different materials (clay, painting, sculpture, collage and more), exploring the natural environment, climbing, running, building, reading, resting, and playing both independently and collaboratively.
We welcome children ages 4-10. Camp runs weekly from June 15th through July 24th, Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 1 pm. Receive a discount when you sign up for four or more weeks! For more information, fill out our application or contact us at email@example.com
Our camp is located off of Hillsborough road, near McDougle school in Chapel Hill in an area surrounded by nature. Children spend many mornings playing in in the creek, creating games in the woods, and building creations with mud.
